New Pictures

Of course, Kasen wouldn't really cooperate. He was much more interested in the ducks! Then there was Jaxon...he didn't even crack a smile. I was also a little disappointed because I didn't end up trying to get any of them together. Oh well, maybe next time.

Good News

Jaxon had a check-up with the cardiologist on Wednesday and everything went great. He weighed 12lbs, so he is definitely a healthy eater! They did an EKG and an echo. The Dr. said that the upper hole is almost closed and the bottom hole is getting smaller. He said that he doesn't have to come back until he is one. That is wonderful news because we were taking him for check-ups every six weeks. We are so thankful that God healed Jaxon so quickly.

Baby Goat

Our goat had a baby! We originally had three goats and the dogs brutally killed two of them. So then we were left with the three dogs, a borrowed donkey, and one lonely goat. Now we have a baby goat to add to the mix. I have never been a fan of goats, but he is actually pretty cute. Kasen loves him. He always points outside and the to the bucket we use to feed him. Here are a few pics I took of them yesterday. The baby and the mama are currently in a separate little pen so the dogs and the donkey won't hurt them.

New Car

I have been promising to post pictures of my new car for a few weeks now. I just keep forgetting! It is a Buick Enclave. My brother in-laws asked if I was 90. I know Buicks are usually for older people, but I absolutely love it!!! It is the perfect size. It has a skylight in the second row and Kasen absolutely loves it. It is also going to have DVD players in the headrests. We actually bought it before the dealer installed them so we will have to take it back for a day so they can install them.

Okay...Okay

I warned you all in the beginning that I wasn't going to be very good at blogging! It has been forever since my last post. Life just seems to get in to way of blogging. We really haven't been doing anything important...just running around like crazy. I guess I will go all the way back to Valentine's Day. Justin and I went out to eat and the boys spent the night with my mom and dad. We rented a PPV movie, but I was asleep within the first 5 minutes...which was around 9:00. Here comes the best part...I got a full nights sleep. I really think this has happened since before I was pregnant with Kasen which was two years ago. I didn't have to get up to feed a baby or to pee!! It was absolutely wonderful. My parents got the boys ready for church so I got to sleep late and get ready in peace. I felt like a new woman. Now I am back to reality. Kasen and Jaxon have both been sick...AGAIN. It is like a neverending process. Jaxon currently has an ear infection. Poor Kasen, he has chapped cheeks from rubbing snot all over them. Oh the joys of motherhood.

Ok now to the good stuff. Jaxon is smiling! I only have few pics since I am at work...on my lunch break. It just makes my morning. I put him in his carrier on my bathroom counter and he smiles and talks to me while I am getting ready in the mornings. Then there is Kasen. He hit me in the face the other day when I tried to get him to hug me goodbye. Needless to say, he got a spanking. I am afraid that he is starting to act more like me and Justin everyday, and that isn't necessarily a good thing. He tends to be a little demanding. I wonder where he gets that. I will have to post some new pictures of him soon. They are both getting their pictures taken next weekend. I can't wait!
